Horticulture
An introductory course in skills for proper care and management of horticultural plants. Husbandry skills including health observation, identification, management procedures, and environmental assessment are covered. This course will also include ways plants serve the basic needs of humans for food, shelter, protection, fuel, and emotional well-being. Plant Science will cover the terminology, basic structures of the industries surrounding the production, care, and marketing of plants in the U.S.
